A Leechburg pizza shop is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day season with heart-shaped pizzas and flowers and stuffed animals on the side.
“With the pandemic, we’re thinking outside of the box because a lot of people are not going to be able to go out to dinners, and there are people that are still afraid to go out to eat,” said Jennifer Bucci, co-manager of Fox’s Pizza on Market Street.
Leechburg Floral on Market Street is partnering with Fox’s to provide fresh red roses and a choice of stuffed plush animals to go along with the pizzas.
“We wanted to collaborate with another Leechburg-area business and work together for a creative Valentine’s offer,” Jennifer Bucci said.
Owner Keith Fetterman said he’s looking forward to seeing how customers respond to the unique pizzas.
“This could inspire a couple to have a pizza proposal for the big holiday,” Fetterman said.
Packages range from about $15 to $65 and are available through Valentine’s Day.
The least-expensive package features an extra-large, heart-shaped pizza with two toppings and a 2-liter drink.
Customers can build on that, adding a plush stuffed animal, a balloon and a long-stemmed red rose to the base package for about $35, or a half-dozen roses to the base package for about $50. The fourth package rolls all the options into one for about $65.
