60-year-old man shot in Aliquippa

A 60-year-old man was shot in Beaver County early Sunday morning, according to state police.

Aliquippa police went to the 200 block of Spaulding Street shortly before 12:30 a.m.

State police said the victim had been shot in the leg and that the wound was not life-threatening. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Police were continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Beaver at 724-773-7400.
