Indiana Borough Police have arrested a teenaged girl and acquired an arrest warrant for a 20-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a Pittsburgh man who was found early Saturday in a parking lot.

Isabella Marie Edmonds, 17, was arraigned late Saturday on multiple charges of homicide, robbery and two counts of criminal conspiracy in connection with the shooting that killed Jaedyn Khadim Ma Wright, 20, of Pittsburgh, according to online court dockets. Edmonds, who will turn 18-years-old Oct. 24, is charged as an adult.

Police have also charged Isaiah A. Moore of Philadelphia with identical complaints, plus a theft charge, in connection with the shooting. Investigators are looking for Moore.

Police said they are trying to identify two other possible suspects who were in the area at the time of the shooting and were observed on security video running from the Carriage House East apartment complex.

Anyone with information is asked to call borough police at 724-349-2121.

Police reported that they believe the four conspired to rob Wright of a large quantity of marijuana which led to the shooting. Police said they picked up Edmonds for questioning several hours after the shooting walking along Oakland Avenue and charged her late Saturday.

District Judge Christopher Welch of Clymer ordered Edmonds held in the county jail without bail pending a hearing next week, according to court dockets.

District Attorney Robert Manzi Jr. confirmed Edmonds’s arrest by borough police. He said investigators are continuing the probe and more arrests could be made.

Police said they were called at 4:07 a.m. to the 1300 block of Oakland Avenue for a report of an unresponsive man laying in a private parking lot with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. identified the victim as Wright.

Police said said Wright was found “lying alone.”

Wright was treated at the scene and transported to Indiana Regional Medical Center where he later was pronounced dead.

Police reported the seized a vehicle in the parking lot and also acquired a search warrant for an apartment in the Carriage House apartments during the investigation.

Police report the investigation is “active and ongoing” and they believe there is no increased threat to the community.

Borough police are being assisted by state police, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Police, the county coroner’s office, Citizen’s Ambulance Service and county detectives.
