Allegheny County Police charged a 66-year-old man with rape and other offenses after a 17-year-old girl accused him of assaulting her more than a decade ago in Harrison.
In addition to rape, police charged Randolph Walker, of Carnegie, with felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children. He also faces misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault.
According to a criminal complaint filed against Walker, detectives interviewed the alleged victim in June. She claimed Walker raped her three times when she was 5 to 6 years old.
The girl told police the rapes happened when Walker was watching her and her younger sister while their mother was at work.
The girl said that Walker threatened to kill her mother and sister if she ever said anything. The alleged sexual abuse ended when the girl’s mother stopped working.
Walker was arraigned Friday morning and released on a nonmonetary bail.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Sept. 30 before District Judge Carolyn Bengel.
