A staff member at Pittsburgh Mifflin has tested positive for covid-19, leading administrators to suspend Grab and Go lunches at that location.

The elementary school will be closed until Wednesday, according to a district statement, while the facilities team deep cleans the building “out of an abundance of caution.” All Pittsburgh Public Schools are using remote instruction for the first quarter of the school year.

Families who visit Pittsburgh Mifflin for Grab and Go meals are encouraged to go to Pittsburgh Greenfield or Pittsburgh Carrick instead.
