Tim Benz and Mark Madden return for this week’s edition of “Unfiltered” on TribLive’s Facebook page and discuss the concert that was supposed to happen Sunday at PNC Park: Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett. They would have been there, but now wonder whether any concerts will happen again.

Onto sports, the guys talk about the teams in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. Madden still believes the Philadelphia Flyers will win the Eastern Conference. Benz says the Western Conference has also some good hockey.

The guys talk about the possibility that after the current season, some sports will not continue unless tickets can be sold and fans in the arenas.

The guys talk about what moves the Penguins might make in the offseason. And what it will take to rebuild - or retool - to win again.

Madden thinks that the NFL is the only league that can continue without fans in the stands, especially if college football doesn’t happen.

The guys also talk about the fast-approaching NFL season, and how it seems to be sneaking up on fans, though they think as fans will start to pay attention soon.

Benz and Madden talk some about the Pirates and the prospect of trading Josh Bell - if they can.

They also talk about the high school sports in Pennsylvania amid the pandemic and they respond to some reader comments.
