Many letter-writers who voice their contempt for President Trump are labeled by Trump supporters as Kool-Aid-drinking CNN followers. I’d much rather drink Kool-Aid than bleach.
I do watch CNN and have much more regard for its anchors than for Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Rush Limbaugh. I try to get as much useful and correct information that help form my political views and block out all Democratic, Republican, liberal, conservative, left and right propaganda.
I think and vote as an American. But there is no one who forms my opinions for me better than Trump himself. Every time I hear him speak, he helps me make up my mind. To borrow a line from the Three Stooges, every time he speaks, he weakens the nation.
I believe Trump says nothing to unify the country, only divide. He is only a president to those who voted for him and support him. He’s like a child with his tweets, lies and insults. How can a man who knows so little act like he knows so much?
How can anyone believe he is making America great? I say he is disgracing it. Just look at the country: protesting and rioting (which I don’t condone) that hasn’t been seen since the 1960s and ’70s, plus racial, political and civil discord. In my opinion, he is responsible for a large part of it by his actions and words.
He and his administration remind me of evil cartoon villains. Richard Nixon was the most villainous president in our history — until Trump came along.
