Hampton Community Pool will host its first junior lifeguarding program.
The purpose of the program, according to the municipality’s website, is to promote skills associated with being a lifeguard, including lifesaving techniques.
This is a one-day program with two sessions, from 9 a.m. to noon either Aug. 1 or Aug. 2 at the Outdoor Pool Complex. The program is free and open only to those 12 and older.
