Tim Benz and Mark Madden got together virtually for “Madden Benz Unfiltered” on the TribLIVE Facebook page on Monday.
The guys returned via Zoom video conference and talked about the sports world amid the coronavirus pandemic and how the sports leagues are trying to restart.
They talked about the NHL coming back and the idea of Pittsburgh being considered as a site for games. Madden doesn’t think Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto or Pa. Gov Tom Wolf would want it to happen.
They also break down how the Steelers did in this year’s NFL Draft. And how the players that the team picked will impact the current players on the team.
Madden doesn’t think Juju Smith-Schuster will be with the Steelers in 2021. Though he doesn’t think the players drafted will make a big difference anytime soon.
Both Madden and Benz think the other teams in the division had better drafts than the Steelers.
And while Madden’s cat did not make an appearance, the guys will be back next Monday at 9:30 a.m. on TribLIVE Facebook page.
