The Norwin School Board has cancelled its meeting that was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, because the school district is closed for two weeks as a result of the governor’s orders to combat the spread of the coronavirus that causes covid-19.

The school district has yet to reschedule the meeting, but will post a notification on its website, once the new meeting date has been set, said Jonathan Szish, school district spokesman.

All district facilities are closed to the students and non-essential staff beginning Monday and continuing through March 29. While the school district is closed, all school activities are cancelled.
