The Port Authority of Allegheny County has canceled four remaining community informational meetings — including one scheduled for Wednesday evening — over growing coronavirus concerns.

Meetings entitled “Public Transit: A Community Discussion” have been held to provide information and gather feedback about upcoming transit projects throughout Allegheny County, according to spokesman Adam Brandolph.

He said remaining meetings, which had been scheduled through April, will be rescheduled.

Residents can watch a recording of a previous meeting, review the presentation and submit feedback through the Port Authority’s website.

The transit agency has updated its pandemic plan to include coronavirus protocols, but has yet to make operational changes because of the virus.
