• Date to Create, 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 8. Celebrate Valentine’s Day by bringing your spouse, significant other, best friend or date to create an art project. You paint one canvas and they paint the other. All skill levels welcome. Must be at least 21 years old. Snacks and soft drinks will be served. BYOB. Feel free to bring a snack to share. Cost: $15 per couple, payable at the event. Registration required.

• Oscar Party, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Feel free to dress up and watch the Oscars, beginning with the Red Carpet coverage. Refreshments will be served. The person who picks the most correct winners will receive a Fandango gift card. Registration required.

• Wine a Little, Paint A Lot, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11. Paint either a “welcome,” or “spring” sign on a 6-foot piece of wood. Cost: $40. Send a check made out to Karla Gerhart to the library, in care of Jane Milner, when you register at jeffersonhills boro.org.
Pleasant Hills

• Teen Valentine Cookie Decorating, 3 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13. Students in grades 6 to 12 welcome. Cost: $2. Registration requested, but not required.
