Paul Siefken, president and CEO of Fred Rogers Productions, will deliver the address for the December commencement at Saint Vincent College in Unity, the college announced.

The 15th annual December commencement will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at the Robert S. Carey Student Center.

Siefken joined Fred Rogers Productions in 2013 as vice president for broadcast and digital media. He oversaw broadcast content and digital production for the popular children’s programs “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Peg + Cat” and “Odd Squad.”

Prior to his time at Fred Rogers Productions, Siefken worked for nine years at PBS, holding the title of director of children’s programming. He managed the development of several PBS children’s series, including “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” “Word Girl” and “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That.”

Saint Vincent College is home to the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media, which houses the Fred Rogers Archive and the multimedia Fred Rogers Exhibit.

Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, college chancellor, the Rev. Paul R. Taylor, college president, and Dr. John Smetanka, vice president for academic affairs, will preside over the commencement. One hundred and twelve bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees will be conferred.
