On Saturday, the White Valley AMVETS will join the Export, Delmont and Murrysville American Legions and the Delmont VFW to sponsor Veterans’ Day ceremonies at two local cemeteries, and honor rolls throughout the three towns.
The itinerary will be:
- 8 a.m., ceremony at Eastview Union Cemetery, East Pittsburgh Street in Delmont
- 8:30 a.m., honor roll in Delmont
- 9 a.m., ceremony at First Presbyterian Church cemetery in Delmont
- 9:30 a.m., honor roll at Export American Legion, 5778 Kennedy Avenue in Export
- 10:15 a.m., honor roll at Murrysville Community Park, 4056 Wiestertown Road in Murrysville
- 11 a.m., at Branthoover Cut-Off memorial
- Noon, honor roll at White Valley AMVETS, 2100 Carolina Street in Murrysville
At 12:30 p.m., the White Valley AMVETS will host a luncheon for veterans at the post on Carolina Street.
The public is invited to join the ceremonies and honor rolls.
