Dinner to benefit Children’s Hospital
The annual Chow-Chow Dinner to benefit the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Springdale Veterans Association, 1151 Pittsburgh St.

Natrona Heights VFW to host free Halloween party
Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars will host a free Halloween party at 8 p.m. Saturday at the post, 894 Veterans Lane.
There will be games, prizes for best costume, music and drink specials. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share.

Chicken and biscuit dinner to benefit Vandergrift church and fire department
A chicken and biscuit dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 in the social hall at St. Gertrude Church, 303 Franklin Ave.
The menu will include chicken, biscuit, mashed potatoes, corn, beverage and dessert. Dine in or take out.
Cost is $10; children eat in only, $6. Advance tickets are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
