The Washington County Coroner’s office reported one person was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on Route 22 in Hanover Township.

Coroner S. Timothy Warco said the identity of the victim in the 10:14 a.m. crash is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The office reported that the victim’s car was eastbound at mile marker 3 when they lost control, crossed the median and was struck by a westbound vehicle. Authorities reported the victim was not wearing a seat belt.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
