Tina Harris, owner of the Chalk Hill Market in rural Fayette County, said a $1 million jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 ticket purchased Monday at the store is the largest winning ticket ever sold there.

“Oh my God! That’s awesome it was sold here, and good for whoever bought it too!” Harris said when called about selling the winning ticket.

Harris said the winner has not stepped forward.

She said the previous highest winning ticket sold at the store was approximately $100,000.

The winner matched all five balls drawn, 16-28-30-40-43. The store, at 2931 E. National Pike in Chalk Hill, about 8 miles southeast of Uniontown, will earn a $5,000 bonus for the sale, according to lottery officials.

Lottery officials recommended the ticket holder sign the ticket, call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481 and file a claim at the nearest lottery office.

More than 53,000 other Cash 5 tickets also won prizes in the drawing.
