Harrison’s youngest reigning fundraising queen was at it again this weekend.

Kaley Bastine, 7, raised nearly $3,000 for New Kensington police Officer Joe Martino and his police dog, Deuce. The dog was donated to the police department by the Officer Brian Shaw Foundation. Shaw was killed while on duty in November 2017.

Kaley raised the money by holding a cupcake stand at Bird Dogs Sports Bar & Grill in Harrison.

“It was a great night last night,” Jamie Bastine, Kaley’s mom, said Sunday. “She had a lot of fun.”

Bastine said Kaley raised nearly $20,000 for the Harrison Township Police Department over the last year before turning her efforts to New Kensington.

Some of her fundraisers included a lemonade stand and a cookie stand.

In June, the Walmart Foundation gave Kaley a check for $7,500 to benefit Harrison police.
