INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 63-67) won 5-2 over Louisville (Reds). The Indians led 4-0 after four innings. RHP James Marvel (5-0, 2.72) earned the victory in a seven-inning outing with six strikeouts and two runs allowed on six hits. 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.260) went 4 for 5 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base. 1B Will Craig (.253) drove in two runs. 2B Jake Elmore (.342) went 2 for 5 with a double and two runs. CF Trayvon Robinson (.309) was 2 for 4 with a triple and a RBI. RHP Montana DuRapau (2-1, 1.91) recorded his 10th save.

Next: Saturday vs. Louisville (Reds), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 65-65) defeated Bowie (Orioles), 7-0. LHP Sean Brady (4-12, 4.47) threw a shutout with six strikeouts, a walk and seven hits allowed. LF Chris Sharpe (.222 with Altoona) finished 3 for 4 with a fourth-inning solo home run, a double and three RBIs along with two runs. 2B Adrian Valerio (.152 with Altoona) hit a two-run double in a six-run fifth inning for the Curve.

Next: Saturday at Bowie, 6:35 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 69-60) won 5-1 over Daytona (Reds). 1B Mason Martin (.237) led the way offensively for the Marauders, going 3 for 4 with two solo home runs, three RBIs and three runs. C Deon Stafford (.234) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. RHP Nicholas Economos (6-3, 1.94 with Bradenton) earned the win after giving up a run in six innings with a strikeout, a walk and five hits allowed.

Next: Saturday vs. Daytona, 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 74-54) lost 16-5 to Hickory (Rangers). RHP Winston Nicacio (2-2, 2.92) was responsible for the defeat after allowing seven runs on 10 hits in 3 2/3 innings with three strikeouts and two walks. RF Fabricio Macias (.279) went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and two runs. SS Ji-Hwan Bae (.320) finished 2 for 5 with a triple and two runs.

Next: Saturday at Hickory, 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 35-29) won 8-1 over Auburn (Nationals). RHP Austin Roberts (2-1, 2.91) got the victory after throwing five scoreless innings with three strikeouts, a walk and seven hits. DH Fernando Villegas (.281) hit a third-inning solo home run. LF Blake Sabol (.249) went 2 for 4 with an RBI triple and two runs scored. 2B Cory Wood (.235) and 1B Will Matthiessen (.233) drove in two runs each.

Next: Saturday at Auburn (Nationals), 7 p.m.
