Consumers will be able to learn about the utility assistance program, how to budget utility bills, shop for natural gas and electricity service and how to conserve energy during a workshop that Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission representatives will present at the Norwin Public Library on Caruthers Lane, Irwin, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 14.

PUC educators also will help utility consumers learn how to save money on utilities and will explain their rights as a customer.

Those interested in attending the free workshop should register by calling the library at 724-863-4700, ext. 3.
