The lucky Pennsylvania liquor lottery winners have been chosen.
Winners, who will be granted the opportunity to purchase highly sought-after bourbons and whiskeys, were notified last week. The drawing was held Wednesday.
For the first time, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has released the cities in which the winners live.
Judging by the numbers, Pittsburgh beat Philly yet again.
Pittsburghers were drawn for 32 bottles of rare whiskey and bourbon. Philadelphia came in second with 28 bottles and Harrisburg at seven.
Four bottles made their way to a Greensburg address and two to New Kensington.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol, operating more than 600 wine and spirits stores in the state.
The liquor board began its liquor lottery in 2015 and has auctioned nearly 14,000 bottles of spirits since then.
The lottery held last week offered Pennsylvanians a chance to buy up to seven different varieties. The total inventory was than 300 bottles, including the 29 year-old, $2,499.99 bottle of Teeling Vintage Reserve that sold in Dubois.
