Ohio native Kelly Zullo, described as a one-person band, will bring her acoustic show to You Are Here: A Place for Art in Jeannette.

Zullo, who won the Columbus Songwriter Association competition’s “best songwriter” category, fuses funk, jazz and Americana, and will perform from 7-9 p.m. July 18 at the art center, 406 Clay Ave.

She also was voted 614 Magazine’s “Best Solo Musician” two years in a row (2014-15) in her Columbus hometown.

Zullo is known for her energetic acoustic guitar playing and drumming, and philosophically quirky songwriting, according to a release.

Guitar World Magazine describes her music as “an energetic acoustic guitar assault by this skilled, funky speed demon.”

Admission is $5 and event is BYOB.

Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
