Celebrate your dad bod.

Men with dad bods are generally happy with their bodies, have high self-esteem, and are confident in their own skin, according to a new survey sponsored by Planet Fitness.

The survey also found that Americans say dad bods are attractive, men with dad bods are sexy and the dad bod is the new six-pack.

Dad bods are usually associated with middle-age men, who are husbands and fathers and have let their physical appearance slide from what it was in their younger years. Think more beer and pizza, and less push-ups and bicep curls. The term has grow in popularity since 2015, stemming from this essay.

Planet Fitness, which released the survey last week for Father’s Day, said they ”challenging everyone, and not just dads, to be comfortable in their own skin and accept others for who they are.”

The online survey was conducted with 2,217 people around the country ages 18 and over.
