Former McKeesport basketball star Swin Cash is reportedly set to join the front office of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans.
ESPN is reporting Cash, who played at UConn and in the WNBA, will become vice president of basketball operations and team development. Her duties will include scouting, developing players and other roles, sources said.
Cash, 39, played 15 seasons in the WNBA and won three titles. She also won two national championships at UConn.
In 2017, Cash was named director of franchise development for the New York Liberty of the WNBA. She also has been an analyst on television for several platforms, including NBA TV.
