Lower Burrell police are seeking the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old girl who fled from Allegheny County Children and Youth Services officials on Thursday night.

Police said Mykiah Alexander fled the custody of Allegheny County CYS around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Logans Ferry Road and Greensburg Road in Lower Burrell.

Alexander is black, 5 feet tall and about 120 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and long braided hair.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans with holes in them, and black-and-red Nike Air Jordans. She was also carrying a black bookbag with neon green zippers on it, police said.

Alexander is a Penn Hills resident and may be on foot in New Kensington, Lower Burrell or Plum.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Lower Burrell Police Department at 724-339-4287.
