A feud between two men led to the shooting death of one of them Friday night in Robinson Township, police said.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that 51-year-old Michael McDonald was the victim. He was shot at a home on the 2000 block of Forest Grove Road just after 9 p.m.
According to county police, officers arrived at the scene, where they discovered McDonald suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transferred to a local hospital where he died.
Police said McDonald drove to the home of a 61-year-old man with whom he was involved in an “ongoing dispute.”
Upon entering the home he threatened the man.
The resident shot the man in the chest with a shotgun, police said.
No arrest have been made. County officials said they will work with the District Attorney’s office to see if any charges will be filed.
The investigation is ongoing.
