Five incumbent Shaler Area school directors will face no opposition in the May 21 primary election.
Jim Tunstall represents Region 1 and will carry out a two-year term. The following will carry out four-year-terms: Jason Machajewski and Eileen Phillips representing Region 2; and James L. Fisher and Jeanne Petrovich representing Region 3.
All are filed as both Democrats and Republicans.
Barring successful write-in campaigns qualifying other candidates for the November general election, the school directors will comprise the nine-person board, which will reorganize in December.
