After listening to presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders and others talk, here are my thoughts on:

• Letting prisoners vote: These people gave up their rights when they committed crimes. They lost this freedom as a part of their punishment.

• College loan forgiveness: What about all the people who did pay them back? Are you going to return their money? We did not force people to take out loans. I and others paid our mortgages off, not the government. Why should I and others pay for their loans and their mistakes ?

• Health insurance for all: Canada has health insurance for everybody, but a lot of people get supplemental private insurance (some pay $500 or more a month) so they don’t need to wait months to see a doctor.

It’s no wonder our government is so in debt; these people sound incompetent. Have they ever balanced a budget at home? They should all resign from office to save face.
