Meet Zane, Pittsburgh police’s new comfort pup

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police has a new canine companion.

The bureau on Thursday welcomed Zane, its first comfort dog for peer support, critical incidents and community outreach, on its social media pages.

Zane is Hebrew for “gift and prayed for.”
