Two dance companies will collaborate to present “Horizons” on April 26 and 27 at the Byham Theater in downtown Pittsburgh.

Bodiography Contemporary Ballet and the world-renowned Martha Graham Contemporary Dance Company will join forces to feature work by Martha Graham and Bodiography founder/artistic director Maria Caruso.

Dancer Carrie Ellmore-Tallitsch will perform Graham’s most celebrated pieces including “Conversation of Lovers,” “Satyric Festival Song,” “Moon Duet from Canticle for Innocent Comedians,” “Serenata Morisca,” and the world premiere of Caruso’s “InsideOUT (the call of passion).”

Bodiography artists will take the stage performing Graham’s “Steps In The Street” and Caruso’s latest work, “Air,” which premiered in Berlin in March.

Additional repertoire will be performed by Ellmore-Tallitsch with the presentation of Caruso’s “Roots To Earth.”

“Martha Graham revolutionized the way women are represented on stage,” Caruso said via a press release.

Performances begin at 8 p.m.
