Rides, robots and races are up and running at Carnegie Mellon University’s annual spring celebration.

Spring Carnival & Reunion Weekend kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday. It’s a tradition that goes back more than 100 years.

This year’s theme is Planet Earth.

Rain showers didn’t dampen the dunking booth.

Catch the buggy race finals Saturday morning.

Even the pets are decked out with some Tartan plaid.

What’s a carnival without rides?

There was a spotlight on food.

Just come as you are.
