A Salem Township woman is accused of child endangerment after police said two boys found her not breathing after she apparently overdosed on drugs.

Alicia Marie Gregg, 33, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the Jan. 6 incident.

Troopers and paramedics were called to her Story Road home at 2 p.m. and found Gregg in a bathroom. Paramedics said Gregg told them “that she relapsed and the drugs were underneath the sink in her bathroom,” according to court papers. She later told a trooper that she didn’t take drugs, just passed out.

Gregg was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. A blue makeup bag found under the sink contained 50 stamp bags of heroin — 29 full and 21 empty — and drug paraphernalia, according to the complaint.

Police did not list in the complaint the ages of the children. Gregg is charged with two counts each of child endangerment and reckless endangerment. She is free on $50,000 unsecured bail.

She did not have an attorney listed in online court records and a phone number for her could not be located. A preliminary hearing is set for April 15.
