Pittsburgh wants residents to weigh in on the proposed redesign of a dangerous four-way intersection in Larimer.

The city is planning improvements at Frankstown and Lincoln avenues and Enterprise and Lowell streets and wants community input on possible new safety features and travel improvements.

Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure has scheduled a public forum for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Urban Academy, 437 Turrett St., Larimer. Participants are asked to register online or by calling the city’s 311 help line. Free childcare is available upon registration.

Officials chose the intersection because of frequent crashes, according to the Mayor’s Office. Numerous pedestrians, including children, cross its streets daily.
