Chatham University’s Eden Hall Campus in Gibsonia will host a free Earth month celebration with garden giveaways, sustainable tie-dyeing and a book swap.

The event will be 2 to 8 p.m. April 13 at 6035 Ridge Road.

Co-hosted by 350 Pittsburgh and Chatham’s Falk School of Sustainability and the Environment, the free family friendly festival will focus on stewardship.

Aimed at all ages, the celebration will include tours of the campus and farm, hands-on activities in the agroecology garden, a woodland clean-up, clothing swap and a plant giveaway. Two live bands will entertain.

Registration is available at chatham.edu/events/details.cfm?eventID=25862.

Eden Hall encompasses 388 acres of woods, a farm and campus buildings, and was donated to Chatham in 2008.
