Western Pennsylvania sites announced for Drive, Chip & Putt

The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association announced local qualifiers for the 2020 Drive, Chip and Putt competition that culminates in a year at Augusta National Golf Club.

Registration is underway.

Local qualifying sites include:

Willowbrook Country Club, Allegheny Township — June 12

Green Oaks Country Club, Verona — June 13

JC Martin Golf Course, Erie — June 27

Tam O’Shanter Golf Course, Hermitage — July 12

Oakbrook Country Club, Stoystown — July 19

Westmoreland Country Club, Export — July 29

A subregional qualifier will be held at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on Aug. 1 and a regional qualifier will be

contested at Oakmont Country Club on Sept. 7.

The competition is free and open to children ages 7 to 15. Contestants are arranged in four age groups and can

advance through local, subregional and regional events.

The top 80 qualifiers — 40 boys, 40 girls — move on to the finals at Augusta on April 5, 2020, just before the start of The Masters.
