Lower Burrell police say several vehicles were broken into Wednesday night and are reminding people to lock their car doors.

Chief Tim Weitzel said the break-ins occurred on Donnell Road, Davies Street, Fairway Street, and Mintwood Drive.

Most, if not all the vehicles, were left parked and unlocked, Weitzel said.

“All residents are strongly urged to lock their cars and to report suspicious activities immediately to 911,” the chief said.

The chief encouraged area residents in the area with home surveillance to review footage from Wednesday night and contact Detective Sgt. Jason Napier with any information. Napier can be reached at 724-339-4287 Ext. 263.
