One lane of Route 68 in Evans City is closed after a water main break was discovered overnight.

Motorists who travel the busy road should expect delays this morning while crews work to repair the line.

PennDOT crews were on the scene to salt the road and thwart any potential freeze.

It is the second incident in as many days for the Butler County neighborhood.

There was a water main break Sunday on Main Street, near the Saint Mathias Church. Residents experienced water discoloration and outages in some areas. The Evans City Water and Sewage Authority said there was no boil alert but advised residents to run their water until it cleared.
