A Monroeville artist will showcase some of his artwork at the North Hills Art Center for its annual Mid-Winter Hues Show.

Larry Brandstetter, a self-professed “doodler,” will have three of his pieces on display. Two of them will be drawings and the third is a collage of mixed media entitled “…in the neighborhood” — a tribute to Fred Rogers’ television show.

The show will run from Feb. 2 to March 7. There will be an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 2.

The public can view the pieces for free from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Monday’s the display is open again from 6 to 8 p.m.

“I hope you can visit this crazy good art exhibit,” Brandstetter said. “If you get the chance to look at my stuff, hope you’ll get lost for awhile and enjoy the adventure.”

Brandstetter has won more than 14 awards in the past three years for his work.
