Author to discuss romance genre at ‘Galentine’s Day’ gathering at Northland Library

Northland Public Library is playing host to a “Galentine’s Day” party featuring local romance writer Audrey Abbott, who will talk about her novel “The Lady’s Desire” and the modern romance genre.

Participants in the Feb. 13 program can bring their favorite romance novels to suggest or trade with others. The 21 and older event is BYOB. Desserts will be provided.

Abbott, who is the author of the new Abbey Mead series, will have books for sale and signing before and after the program, which runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Registration is required and can be done online or by calling 412-366-8100.

The library is located at 300 Cumberland Road in McCandless.
